Fire and Emergency Services Training Programme

This course has been designed to provide the key skills that firefighters should possess.  The course content will be decided by the Fire Service based on their exact requirements and firefighters will have to complete nominated modules and achieve a satisfactory result to receive a completion certificate.

  • Render hazardous materials incidents safe
  • Respond to isolated structure fire
  • Confine small workplace emergencies
  • Respond to urban fire
  • Undertake vertical rescue
  • Undertake confined space rescue
  • Undertake road crash rescue
  • Lead a crew
